Yes, if you find out where in the brain feelings of fear are stored then you can design treatments for people who suffer from extreme anxiety. I’m pretty sure you can also use it for other things as well. Who needs to waste time torturing people when a quick tweak of the brain can make them terrified?

Indeed, which I suspect just goes to show that “intelligence” operatives who torture prisoners don’t do so because it is the best way to break someone, they do so because they enjoy doing it.
