Continuing my quest to see out interesting new books, I’m delighted to present a debut fantasy novel from a Russian writer. Julia Sidorova is a biomedical researcher at Washington University in Seattle, and a Clarion West graduate. The Age of Ice is a fascinating tour of Russian history, told through the eyes of a man who is very at home in the cold. This is definitely something different, and well worth checking out.
