Hello, Spacegirl

SpacegirlSo, I have worked out how to export images from Covert Fashion. (It wasn’t hard, there’s a Share function which includes options like PDF and DropBox). This is one I’m rather fond of.

One of the nice things about the game is that many of the contests have fun themes. Sure you might be asked for an outfit for a garden party, or a dinner for two at a 5-star restaurant, but you might also be asked to come up with an outfit that would not look out of place in a cosplay contest.

This one was actually a design for a “Space Oracle”, whatever that means, and it doesn’t score that well because it wasn’t mystical enough. However, having seen that top I knew I had to use it. I bet that girl’s ship could out-run the Millennium Falcon any day.

  1. I’m not sure about those pants; I like the idea of contrasting the more angular top with something more splotchy and organic, but these colors in particular where a little too “tie-dye” (not that “space hippie” isn’t an awesome idea in and of itself…)

It prolly isn’t possible in the game, but what I think would look really cool is if the pants where darker and had a galaxy-pattern on them. Nothing says “high fashion” like having the entirety of Hubble Deep Field on your legs.

    1. One of the limitations of the game is that you can’t design your own clothes, you can only buy clothes that the various designer brands sponsoring the game have made available.

Of course you are right that the pants would probably be better darker, and I should probably have gone for something plain, but I was trying to get something a bit mystical into the outfit. Sometimes you screw up.

I think I’ll just pop back into the game and play with that outfit to see if I can improve it.
