  1. Indeed. At the end of a pretty farcical process, I’m full of admiration for the folks at the Hugos who – for all the petty grumbling that goes on – seem to me to do an excellent job… Certainly there’s a much greater feel of legitimacy.

  2. I think that the fact that voting on the Hugo costs actual money probably tends to reduce the voting problems considerably, although the supporters of L. Ron Hubbard certainly gave it something of a shot once upon a time.
